One of the most important relationships we have after the one with ourselves are our friendships. There is nothing like having someone upon whom you can call upon day or night, who only ever wants the best for you, who laughs with you, who cries with you–or, better yet, lets you cry to them, who truly gets you and who loves you unconditionally.
Sometimes female friendships can be fraught with complexities much like a sibling relationship (or so I'm told, as an only child), and sometimes a friendship succumbs to those complexities, as a romantic relationship might, for it is possible to love someone but just not like them anymore.
Despite the ebbs and flows of the female friendship, it is one of the most intimate relationships we have that bring us joy, love and comfort. And as we know, men come and go but your ladies will always be there.
Love and support your female friends. Life is too short not to.
